Creston 1st Annual Food Drive November 21st, 2016

Creston Brewery is incredibly grateful for the support of its community. We strive to aid in revitalizing and strengthening the great Creston Community and we want nothing more than to give our Creston Crew Members the opportunity to share in that awesome caretaking. Because it’s November--and in November we give thanks for all that we have and will receive--Creston will be hosting its first annual food drive.

Creston will be partnering with the Grand Rapids Chapter of Kids Food Basket and Feeding America West Michigan. Because these organizations have specific needs, we will set goals that we’d like to meet, though any and all donations will be happily accepted.

Among the most popular needed items are, but not limited to:

  • *Peanut butter
  • *Sandwich bags
  • *Lunch bags
  • Canned fruits
  • Canned vegetables
  • Dried grains
  • Coffee Hot chocolate packets
  • Juice boxes
  • Canned meats
  • Canned soups
  • Mac-n-cheese
  • In this ‘Call to Action’ series the gifts for participation will be a personal brewery tour conducted by none other than Creston Brewmaster, Scott Schultz. Crew members that bring the most of *highly needed items will have a chance to gain insider knowledge and get up close and personal with the shiny tanks that make up our brewhouse. In addition to the personal tour will be a free 8oz pour of any available beer! So, give a little...get a sweet amount back! Any donations can be made up until that date to receive a tour, however they must donate 10 or more items to be eligible.

Thank you all in advance for your participation and generosity! It’s not every day that a brewery gets the chance to impact its community in such a dynamic way. And for our crew members to take part in this just goes to show how great Creston Brewery is and how great you all are!
